Overview
Kathmandu-Chitwan-Lumbini Tour is an example that Nepal is not just a land of mountains and Sherpas. The natural diversity, the topographical variance and the cultural harmony of Nepal are depicted by Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini tour. In a brief course of time, you will experience three different types of environment with its own historical significance. Kathmandu-Chitwan-Lumbini Tour is always a good idea for your vacation in Nepal because it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.
The Kathmandu city being the capital of the country is the hub for people across the country. You will see all type of Nepali people in Kathmandu. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city, people still find the time to worship the deities around the valley. The residence of these worshipped gods and goddesses, in the shape of pagodas and stupas, are heavily decorated with artistically carved wood and metals. Some of these sites are enlisted under the UNESCO world heritage site. We visit all these sites including the Durbar squares, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath. There are many other sites inside, as well as the outskirts of Kathmandu that you can choose to tour as per your liking. If you want to explore much about Kathmandu Valley, we also organize Kathmandu Valley Tour.
From Kathmandu, we traverse the highway through interesting local shops along the mountains and rivers to Chitwan. Chitwan is another uprising city in the plains of Terai. In the swamp and forest area of the Chitwan National Park, there are many rare kinds of animals such as the one-horned rhinoceros and gharials. We can ride an elephant to cruise through the forest and swamps to see all kinds of animals or, go on a jungle safari by on a jeep. We can also go boating and see the gharials sunbathing on the river banks and rocks. You will also experience the unique native Tharu cultural dance popular in the area.
Heading west of Chitwan, through the highway in terai we reach Lumbini, the birthplace of the ‘light of Asia’, Lord Buddha. The Maya Devi Temple is the sacred place where Maya Devi gave birth to Gautam Buddha. There is also a long pillar erected by the conqueror, Ashoka of India marking it as the birthplace of Buddha. There are several other such pillars across the area as well as places in India marking Buddha’s journey. Lumbini is also famous for sightseeing of the popular monasteries across the globe. These magnificent monasteries and stupas are the replicas of the popular monasteries of different countries across the world. Tam Adventures is always with you to prepare you for any challenges and will accompany you throughout your Tour in Nepal.
